Empower Vending

CSAAC launched Empower Vending, a social enterprise that provides individuals in our Supported Employment Program with the opportunity to gain hands-on work experience through the operation of vending machines. What began as a pilot program at our headquarters and the Brookeville School campus (CSM) has grown into a thriving enterprise with more than 35 locations throughout the community.

Our machines are inspected, restocked, and maintained several times each week to ensure they are always clean, fully stocked, and ready to serve customers. This commitment to reliable service is what sets Empower Vending apart from traditional vending companies.

Snacks and beverages are purchased through wholesale suppliers, and the individuals play a key role by restocking the machines, monitoring inventory levels, and helping keep each location operating smoothly. The program also offers brokerage opportunities that allow participants to oversee vending locations in local businesses, providing valuable work experience while building confidence, responsibility, and greater independence.
