EARLY INTERVENTION INSTRUCTIONAL THERAPIST/INTERN/EXTERN
Requirements:
Good academic
standing
Access to a car
Coursework in
psychology, education, or other related fields. Gain Experience: Learn how to conduct one-to-one positive behavioral therapy with a child in their home or preschool classroom. Provide a minimum of 7-24 in-home therapy hours per week with a child. Attend a weekly 1-hour team meeting at our Brookeville office. Learn how to record accurate notes and data to track the child’s performance. Complete a comprehensive training program (CPR/First Aid certification included). Experience working collaboratively with Ph.D. supervision. For interns and externs, freedom to create
your own projects related to autism and the center to match your
specific program requirements.
