Blake is happy-go-lucky and loves playing with trains, watching Barney, and chasing after his big sister, Paige. When Blake was a baby, his parents were concerned because he was very quiet and did not seem to be interested in people; he seemed lost in his own world.
When Blake was two, he was diagnosed with autism. Blake received services at CSAAC’s Intensive Early Intervention Program and has made huge strides. He has learned to ask for things he wants, to have simple conversations, to play with toys and to follow directions. Blake now attends a local preschool and enjoys playing with his friends.
CSAAC helped Blake acquire the foundational skills to communicate, connect and succeed.
