CSAAC’s Residential Services provide individuals with autism the opportunity to live with dignity, stability, and community connection. Our homes across Montgomery County offer safe, supportive environments where each individual can grow, make choices, and live as independently as possible.
Home Environment & Personalized Support
Each CSAAC residence is designed to feel like home, warm, welcoming, and tailored to the needs and preferences of every individual. Highly trained staff provide 24-hour support focused on daily living skills, communication, and community engagement.
Individuals are encouraged to participate in household routines such as cooking, managing personal care, and maintaining shared spaces. These are experiences that foster independence, confidence, and belonging.
Connection Across Programs
CSAAC’s continuum of care supports individuals throughout their lives.
- School-age students receive education and behavioral support at the Community School of Maryland.
- Adults participate in Meaningful Day and Vocational Programs to develop skills, engage in community life, and pursue employment opportunities.
Residential Services connect seamlessly with these programs, ensuring consistency, stability, and person-centered support at every stage.
During the last five years, we’ve had about 20 students who graduated and are currently enrolled in CSAAC’s adult program.
Community Integration & Lifelong Learning
CSAAC’s residential programs go beyond the home, encouraging individuals to take part in community activities, recreation, and volunteer opportunities that nurture inclusion and friendships.
Whether attending local events, visiting parks, or exploring hobbies, each experience reinforces belonging and lifelong learning.
Our Approach
Every CSAAC home reflects our commitment to person-centered care. Support plans are individualized, strengths-based, and designed in collaboration with families and team members. Staff receive ongoing training to ensure the highest standards of quality, safety, and dignity in every home.
