CSAAC Damascus Farm Project – CSAAC
CSAAC Damascus Farm Project

The CSAAC Damascus Farm Project was established two years ago to create hands-on, skill-building opportunities for individuals served by our vocational program through structured farming activities. The project focuses on promoting responsibility, enhancing daily living skills, and fostering meaningful participation in agricultural tasks.

Over the past two years, the program has included intentional learning and experimentation. The focus has been on identifying crop types best suited to our soil and environmental conditions, understanding pest and wildlife challenges, and gradually building sustainable farming routines.

This year, the project benefited from professional support to enhance soil preparation, planting, and fencing, resulting in improved garden structure and greater crop protection.
