The Aktion Club of CSAAC, a club sponsored by Montgomery Village Kiwanis, held their Annual Karaoke Fundraiser on Friday September 7, 2018. The event room at CSAAC was decorated with fall-midnight themed items and filled to capacity with people who wanted to take to the microphone and sing. Others were there to listen and cheer their fellow singers along. Volunteers from Kiwanis judged the contest and managed the snack counter. An entry fee of just $12.00 allowed ever…yone to have pizza, chips, chicken nuggets and drinks as they mulled over what song to select to sing. Prizes were handed out to the WINNERS…Best Male Singer went to Hans, Top Female Singer went to Kim, and Honorable Mention went to Gary. Support staff were the vocals that helped the performers take home a prize. With their beautiful voices, a Consolation prize went to: James Williams, Jr. with staff member Mercy Vanderpuye.
Prizes were presented in blue and silver buckets filled with useful and fun type items as well as gift cards to favorite eatery’s and stores. The Aktion Club presents this fundraiser each year to support club activities and to give back to the communities around us.
