On Sunday, March 10th, CSAAC hosted a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony / Open House for the newly renovated home for individuals that have limited to no mobility “Wayridge”. This is the first home of its kind for CSAAC. This house is a one level ranch home that was renovated with 5 feet wide hallways, a bathroom with no step-ups and includes a wheelchair accessible roll-in shower, motion senor lights when entering rooms, a rail lift track system allowing individuals to sit in a harness, while a direct support professional can glide them from one area of the house to another. CSAAC thanks CSAAC Board Members, Family Members, CSAAC Associates, and a big thank you to County Council Member Gabe Albornoz for making this ceremony a success.
